As new elements are discovered, the IUPAC will add names to the list following suggestions of the synthesizing laboratory/institute, once a sufficient quantity of atoms has been produced and detected. - R. J. Mathar, Oct 14 2009 [Updated to include 114 (Flerovium) and 116 (Livermorium) by William Rex Marshall, Jun 04 2012]
The IUPAC gives alternate spellings for Aluminium (Aluminum) and Caesium (Cesium). The former doesn't affect the sequence, but the latter would change a(15)-a(21) from 48, 55, 20, 98, 6, 58, 17 to 48, 20, 98, 6, 58, 55, 17. - Michael B. Porter, May 18 2013
