Unit-primitive matrices (discussion page)

Please add your discussion and comments regarding unit-primitive matrices and any of my OEIS integer sequences below. -- L. Edson Jeffery 17:57, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

You might also be interested in a sequence from Vladimir Shevelev I recently edited: A176222. These are not unit-primitives but there are close relationships. Olivier Gérard 06:30, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Thank you Olivier Gérard. Very interesting and nice sequence. The form of the matrix used is similar to the Cartan ring matrix used for the sequence A152060.--L. Edson Jeffery 07:15, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

The sequence A108299 that you have contributed to on March 12, 2011 appears in some research I am doing now. And also as coefficients of a polynomial whose roots are important. Would you have any reference explaining and proving your contribution ? It would be highly valuable to me if I can make the connection from my problem to your expression of the roots and the characteristic polynomial of the matrix you defined. My mistake. In A210508, I meant 2598761979625183. I get 2598761979625197 instead. Alonso del Arte 21:11, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

You are correct! I checked a(3) and a(4) but the mistake in a(4) by the author did not register with me for some reason. I'll change the entry now. L. Edson Jeffery 21:23, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

Your conjecture in A024812 and A024813 seems to extend to the sequence floor (cot(Pi/(2m+1))). I have only checked up to m = 100 though.

Thanks Peter. I noticed that generally, and I considered submitting the table defined around floor(cot(Pi/(2*m+j))), j=0,1,..., but it is conjectural so I did not submit it. L. Edson Jeffery 17:42, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

A205497

In A205497, you say : Christopher H. Gribble kindly calculated the first 100 antidiagonals of the array M. But the b-file is not there. Do you still have this file ? Thanks. Michel Marcus 10 January 2022

Hello Michel. I never had a b-file, but I think I may still have the terms that Christpher sent to me in an email. I will check and let you know, but that was ten years ago.
