I have used metropolitan modern french convention (with dashes), spelling 80 quatrevingts and 91 quatrevingtonze for instance.
Using the masculine version of each cardinal number.
Another version could use septante/octante/nonante instead of soixantedix/quatrevingts/quatrevingtdix etc.
