It's too old to see exactly what happened, but presumably Neil saw it and liked it. I note that it's 10-automatic, which is perhaps not obvious: you can design a small machine which could walk through the digits, holding only a constant (tiny!) amount of state, and decide whether the number is in the sequence or not. - Charles R Greathouse IV (talk) 11:54, 24 July 2018 (EDT)
