Redirect
lg seems to be a perverse choice for a redirect here, given that it almost always refers to the binary logarithm. I've never seen it used to mean the common logarithm.

- I've seen before that {{lb}} is used for the binary logarithm and {{lg}} is used for the common logarithm. On MathWorld's Common Logarithm and especially Lg, I see the conflicting meanings that you mention. So, what should we do with the {{lg}} redirect, redirect it to {{log_2}} or delete it? — Daniel Forgues 00:29, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- I've also seen lb for binary logarithm. In my experience, it's written lg 90% of the time, log_2 8% of the time, and lb 2% of the time. So out of those options I;d favor a redirect to log_2. Charles R Greathouse IV 03:08, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- OK then, I'll redirect {{lg}} to {{log_2}}. — Daniel Forgues 05:41, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
I get a blank output
I tried Shift-Reload to clear the Firefox browser cache and I tried appending ?action=purge to the URL (to clear the MediaWiki server cache), as mentioned on Manual:Purge—MediaWiki.org. and I still have a blank output!? — Daniel Forgues 00:47, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- The results column is blank for me, does someone else see the results, this seems to be due to the cache (either the browser's or the server's) not being purged... I created the /doc subpage before the main page, this seems to have been a bad idea, I won't do it again, it doesn't work well with the cache or something... — Daniel Forgues 01:32, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- The cache wasn't the problem, I had a typo. But the MediaWiki server cache gets in the way of the categorization of templates, e.g. in Category:Hyperbolic function templates we only see one out of 6 hyperbolic function templates. — Daniel Forgues 05:41, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
