The {{tnx}} template is a typing-aid template. Mnemonically {{tnx}} stands for Template Name (or No link) eXpanded. With {{tnx}} you may add up to twelve parameters and interwiki links, and it uses a monospaced non-proportional font.

One difference is readability, compare {{Factorial}} (in proportional font) and {{Factorial}} (in monospaced non-proportional font) using {{tn|Factorial}} and {{tnx|Factorial}}, respectively. These templates are used to name (no link) other templates in an intuitive way with curly braces. For more info about these templates visit wikipedia or meta (Wikipedia uses {{tld}}, our {{tnx}} seems better mnemonically). With {{tnx}} you can add up to 12 parameters separated by "|" escaping any "=" with "{{=}}".
