Almost-oblong primes and quasi-oblong primes

To my knowledge, it is conjectured that there is an infinity of primes of both forms, although it is not proved yet. — Daniel Forgues 06:46, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

If there is no proof yet I'm sure at least there is a strong heuristic argument that this is the case. Alonso del Arte 16:05, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
For both forms the infinitude would follow from any of the standard conjectures, e.g. Schinzel's "Hypothesis H" in his famous paper with Sierpinski. Charles R Greathouse IV 05:13, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
