Surely the two should be combined and one should redirect to the other. Personally I don't think that dummy variables should be in titles except when their use cannot be avoided (e.g., p-adic numbers). - Charles R Greathouse IV 17:16, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

The idea (maybe it should be done only via categories) was to gather links, e.g.

• Number of distinct prime factors of n
• Number of distinct prime factors of n!
• Number of distinct prime factors of triangular numbers
• ...
