Wolfram Alpha
Wolfram Alpha is a computational knowledge search engine powered by Wolfram Mathematica. One can search for mathematical and scientific topics as well as calculations of varying complexity. Example queries include "Bernoulli's principle
", "IBM stock price 2010
", "How many acres in a light year?
"[1] and "2/pi int_0^1 1/(sqrt(1 - x^4)) dx
".[2]
Some queries give references to the OEIS. For example, a query like "138, 163, 190, 523, ..." brings up as a result "Possible sequence identification OEIS A108156" and the continuation from the sequence entry as well as a plot of some terms. Clicking the "More information" button below the sequence identification brings up the referenced OEIS entry.
