## Question about A036462

Hello, Every year I write a blog entry about the year's number and preparing something for 2013 I came across A036462 .

Do you have some links about this conjecture and how the sequence was generated ? Thanks !

You might either reply here, on my User talk page or by email at drgoulu@gmail.com

## Re: `{{Sequence of the Day for October 19}}`

It says that you proposed calling the number log (2 + √ 3 ) |

Why? And what is the full name of the mathematician in question? — Daniel Forgues 02:46, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

## Re: A036462 Conjecturally, a power of 2 written in base 3 cannot have this many 0's.

- Are you the author of the conjecture?
- A reference or link to some book/paper/web site should be provided to document/explain the conjecture.
- There is no recurrence/formula/GF or algorithm provided to obtain the terms of the sequence! Thus, there is no way to verify or extend the sequence... Is the sequence finite?
