I am a Hill Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Rutgers University. Previously I was an Orzan postdoctoral fellow at the Einstein Institute of Mathematics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, after completing my PhD studies at the School of Mathematical Sciences at Tel-Aviv University, under the supervision of Professor Barak Weiss. My main research interest is the study of tilings, aperiodic order and mathematical models of quasicrystals, the associated dynamical systems and their interactions with number theory. My homepage can be found at http://math.huji.ac.il/~yotamsmilansky/.
