Born in 1965 in Speyer (Germany).
I'm working at an IT Helpdesk in a mid tier company in Heidelberg.
I never studied mathematics or any natural science.
Many years ago on christmas I received a book with a lot of riddles by Sam Loyd and comments by Martin Gardner.
Some time later I bought some fascinating and interesting books by Martin Gardner.
These and more other books, e. g.
- Paul Karlson: "Zauber der Zahlen" (english translation: "Magic of Numbers" / this book never appeared in the U.S.A. or UK)
- John Conway, Richard Guy: "The Book of Numbers" (Zahlenzauber)
- Simon Singh: "Fermat's Enigma: The Epic Quest to Solve the World's Greatest Mathematical Problem" (Fermats letzter Satz)
awakened in me a great interest for mathematics.
