Zealous about moving the Earth to keep it within the habitable zone, I am developing a think-tank society for preserving and evolving the collective consciousness of life (https://www.facebook.com/InSociEUP). This will eventually developing into two strategies:- 1> Need of searching for another star to keep our collective consciousness alive 2> Searching for technologies which shall make life on Earth possible with changes as time passes. The Solar System may probably be considered as a small simulator of the entire universe and the need for travelling from one star to another just for ensuring survival of our species might just not be true. Freeman Dyson's paper, Physics and Biology in an open universe is a great paper to develop curiosity.
