User:Ryan Stees
Ryan Stees is currently an undergraduate student at James Madison University, studying both mathematics and music composition. He is actively involved in mathematical research, having participated in projects in knot theory and algebraic combinatorics, as well as REUs at James Madison University in 2013 and Penn State University in 2014. He has presented talks at the 2012, 2013, and 2014 Shenandoah Undergraduate Mathematics and Statistics Conference and the 2014 Penn State MASS Fest, and has participated in the poster session at the 2014 Joint Mathematics Meetings. Additionally, Ryan will be presenting a talk at the 2015 Joint Meetings. After graduating from James Madison in 2016, Ryan plans to earn a Ph.D. in mathematics and teach at a university. Apart from his studies in mathematics, he is an active composer and performing musician.
