Philip Hotchkiss received his B.S. in Mathematics from Union College, and his Ph.D. in Geometric Group Theory from The University at Albany, State University of New York. He now teaches at Westfield State University where he uses an inquiry based approach in all his classes and enjoys sharing his love of mathematics with his students. Outside of mathematics he enjoys cycling, baseball, reading and singing. He lives in Westfield, MA with his wife and two cats.
