Academically, I specialize in the study of temporal plasticity in film (that is, the study of how time is used almost like a raw material in film, available for chopping up, rearranging, stretching, and reversing). But I've also enjoyed recreational mathematics since childhood. My other hobbies include classical music, rocketry, and Scotch.
