From 1965 to 1972 I studied mathematics at the universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen (Germany), earning the academic degree of "Dr.rer.nat." from the University of Tübingen in 1972. Since then, I held positions at various universities and academic institutions as a teacher and professor for mathematics and, partially, computer science (Informatik).
