Glen Whitney received his Ph.D. in logic from UCLA in 1994, and taught in the Mathematics department of the University of Michigan from 1994 until 1997. He worked for Renaissance Technologies in Setauket, NY until 2008, when he founded the National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath). Whitney served in various key roles with MoMath until 2017. Since then, he has organized numerous large-scale public math events, typically focused on cooperative geometric constructions, held visiting positions at Harvard and at the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics, served as the editor of the Playground problem column in Math Horizons, and worked on a number of mathematical software projects. He is currently the editor of The Prisoner's Dilemma, the problem column of The Prison Mathematics Project; see prisonersdilemma.org for the latest problems and submission information. New interesting problems are always welcome! Glen occasionally writes on topics of mathematical interest at StudioInfinity.org.
