Eric earned his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Carleton College in 1994, his Masters in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1995, and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000. After five years on the faculty at Gettysburg College, Eric joined the Mathematics faculty at Carleton College. His research is in algebraic and enumerative combinatorics.
