As a high school student at Pine View school highly interested in the pursuit and advancement of mathematics, I participate in many activities such as the Florida Math League and the Math Madness Competition. I have always enjoyed recreational mathematics, especially in the field of recursion and pattern finding in sequences, making this database not only incredibly enjoyable but also very enlightening. I have found some very unique sequences in relation to my study of the Chinese language and its unique mathematical systems such as recursive patterns in stroke numbers as well as in numbers of letters in pinyin word equivalents (Similar work to Matt Parker's video titled "Four has Four Letters" on the channel "standupmaths"). I hope to continue my work with these sequences and perhaps share this work with others to show correlations between language and math.
