I'm 40 and have spent much of my life as a software developer; computer programming was my one-time hobby and love (I started at aged 5), erstwhile job (for which time I could not enjoy it as a hobby) and is now just a hobby. Not saying I'm not at least semi-professional about coding still... just that I'm enjoying exploring mathematics, primes, complex numbers, surds, representations of information, 3d animation, music creation, coding theory and many new languages in a way that I just couldn't do with a demanding day job.
