The unit interval is the set of all real numbers between 0 and 1.

A significant portion of rational and irrational constants listed in the OEIS lie in the unit interval (for example, the Euler-Mascheroni constant and , see A021256 for the latter).

In A Dictionary of Real Numbers by Jonathan and Peter Borwein, all numbers listed are given to eight decimal places without the integer part, which is to say that they are made to fit into the unit interval. Thus for example, is given as 14159265 rather than 3.14159265. Similarly in the OEIS, one can search for 0.14159265 and get A000796 as a result, or 0.85840734641 and get both A030644 and A153799 as results ( and , respectively, with the former being 6.85840734641... and only the latter actually being in the unit interval).
