Re: Kasner constant

On A072449 it says that sqrt(1 + sqrt(2 + sqrt(3 + sqrt(4 + ... )))) is refered to as the Kasner number, after Edward Kasner.

On A019973 it doesn't mention that 2 + sqrt(3) is refered to as the Kasner constant ... — Daniel Forgues 03:44, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

Number != constant is possible,[1] but I found no hint at all (outside of OEIS), that "Kasner constant" or "Helms constant" exist. –Frank Ellermann 13:23, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
