Transcluding (in OEIS Wiki, from the OEIS) a sequence with given A-number in JSON format?

Is there a way to transclude (in OEIS Wiki, from the OEIS: a special configuration setting of MediaWiki would be necessary to allow this, if ever possible) a sequence with given A-number in JSON format? If it was possible, we could have a template that would parse the result using the keys of the dictionary to extract e.g. the "name" (which could be displayed in a mouse over tooltip) or the "data" of that sequence.

For example, the result of https://oeis.org/search?q=id:A001011&fmt=json could be used as a template argument, and then parsed... (Would that negatively affect the performance of the OEIS server?)
