Why does this talk about the Wolfram / Mmca language, but not about others? AFAIK, in Maple the usual symbol "i" is used (in input as well as in output), in PARI/GP, it's also I. Shouldn't something like this be mentioned (maybe a section "In CAS and programming languages") to be slightly less "biased" towards that proprietary / commercial product? (Then one might also mention how it is maybe implemented in C, FORTRAN, Python, etc...) — MFH 22:01, 25 November 2021 (EST)
