Gerolamo Cardano

Gerolamo (or Girolamo, or Geronimo) Cardano (French: Jérôme Cardan; Latin: Hieronymus Cardanus; 1501–1576) was an Italian Renaissance mathematician, physician, astrologer and gambler.
