Georg Cantor

Georg Ferdinand Ludwig Philipp Cantor (German: [ɡeˈɔʁk ˈfɛʁdinant ˈluːtvɪç ˈfiːlɪp ˈkantɔʁ]; 1845–1918) was a German mathematician, best known as the inventor of set theory.
