The information in this sequence is of course already available in A377091, but showing just the absolute values emphasizes the initially surprising fact that there are essentially no interior points in A377091.

The b-files here and in A379071 suggest that |a(n) - n/2| = O(sqrt(n)), and even that |a(n) - n/2| <= (1/2)*sqrt(n).
