%N Decimal expansion of the length of a parsec in meters, as defined in 2015.

%C Before its redefinition in 2015, a parsec was defined as the distance at which one astronomical unit subtends an angle of one arcsecond, which yielded the slightly different value of 1 au/tan(Pi/(180*3600)), cf. A248424.

%F 1 pc = 1 au * (3600*180 / Pi) = 30 856 775 814 913 672.789... m, since 1 au = 149597870700 m.

%F Equals A217572 * A163103.

%t First[RealDigits[149597870700*648000/Pi, 10, 100]] (* _Paolo Xausa_, Apr 29 2024 *)

%o (PARI) 149597870700*648000/Pi

%Y Cf. A248424 (pre-2015 definition), A163103, A217572, A248645.

%K nonn,cons

%O 17,1
