Year-end appeal: Please make a donation to the OEIS Foundation to support ongoing development and maintenance of the OEIS. We are now in our 60th year, we have over 367,000 sequences, and we’ve reached 11,000 citations (which often say “discovered thanks to the OEIS”).

COMMENTS
This sequence is the number of semitones away from the root tone on a ten-hole diatonic harmonica in standard Richter tone layout. On each hole the player can blow or draw air. Here n=1 is hole 1 blow, n=2 is hole 1 draw, n=3 is hole 2 blow, n=4 is hole 2 draw, ...
The sequence does not account for tones that can be produced by the bending technique.
The sequence can be used to compute the tone layout of a ten-hole diatonic harmonica in standard Richter tone layout in different keys, i.e., with different root tone.
