I am a University College London, 1991, UCL Mathematics graduate and have taught secondary Mathematics and led departments in the independent sector for over 25 years.

I have a passion for recreational mathematics. I have contributed questions to the UKMT competitions and enjoy inspiring young mathematicians.

Whilst Head of Mathematics in a leading international school in Oman on 14 March (Pi Day) 2018 we broke the Guinness World Record for the longest human representation of pi digits with 1182 participants.

I am currently teaching at Mount Kelly College, a private independent day and boarding school in Devon, UK.

I have a private collection of old mechanical calculators.
