Mr. Izad moved from France to the United States in 1996. He studied Mathematics, Chemistry and Molecular Genetics at the Ohio State University. His first publication was on predicting the formation of Gallium Arsenide crystals using an analytical method in solving partial differential equations. He then pursed his education at Case Western Reserve University earning a Masters in Biomedical Engineering, with a focus on Neural Engineering. He published a paper on a method that allows the prediction of neural behaviors under voltage stimulations in real time. Mr. Izad is currently employed as a software developer for a healthcare & bioinformatics company.
