Academically, I am a chemical engineer. Professionally, I am a technical writer, documenting software used by chemical engineers, produced by Aspen Technology. When I am not doing this, I spend a lot of time in puzzles and recreational math. In 2004, I was on the U.S. team which won the World Puzzle Championship. In 2007, 2009, and 2015 I was on teams which won the MIT Mystery Hunt.
