The SeqFan mailing list is the traditional place where contributors to the Online Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences discuss topics related to integer sequences.

Links to old Seqfan archives

The mailing list existed long before the current OEIS website oeis.org and the OEIS foundation. Its archive used to be hosted at a standalone website, which no longer works.

The OEIS contains many links to the archives of the old Seqfan, preserved in the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. It is often the case that the Wayback Machine shows that there are no archived versions of a particular post. When this happens, replacing the string oldermail by pipermail in the URL sometimes reveals the archived version. If you encounter such case, please do that replacement in the OEIS link too (or, even better, make it a link directly to a specific archived version).
