Richard Kenneth Guy  (Sep 30, 1916 – Mar 9, 2020)

An itinerant mathematician who has been roaming the world in search of permanent employment. Met Neil Sloane in 1966, who said he had an idea for a book (remember books?) of integer sequences. Gave him some encouragement, saying that Leo Moser had also mentioned the possibility as a good idea.
