I was born and raised in and around Memphis, TN. I grew up on a small farm with sheep, cats, goats, a dog, chicken, quail, and horses. I later attended the University of Pennsylvania, where I got a BA in Philosophy and also in Political Science. In 2007, I joined UC Berkeley as a PhD student, where I currently am a PhD candidate. I do research on social choice theory. For recreation, I like to play with number sequences.
