John Horton Conway (December 26, 1937 – April 11, 2020)
John Conway, a longtime friend of (and contributor to) the OEIS, has passed away. He will be dearly missed. See his tribute on Numberphile.
John Horton Conway was Professor of Mathematics and John Von Neumann Professor in Applied and Computational Mathematics at Princeton University.
