Today is Election Day in America: the voters will be choosing an Electoral College to choose the President this year, whether to keep Barack Obama as President, elect Mitt Romney or choose some long-shot dark horse. Also, a few States will be choosing new Governors. Turnover in Congress will of course have significant consequences for whoever is President come January 20 of next year.
Whatever we may think of Grover Cleveland’s policies, he presents a little bit of a problem in regards to this sequence. However, since he’s officially regarded as both the 22nd and the 24th Presidents (presumably he’ll get two Presidential gold dollars), this minor difficulty is solved easily enough:a (22) |
