Template:Deceased

A template for marking user pages of users who have died or who have been credibly reported to have died. Use the template at the top of the user page in order to prevent confusion. Use the full name, if known, and as much information as available.

Format: {{deceased|first=First M.|last=Last, Jr.|born=Feb 30, 1968|died=Nov 31, 2020}}

Alternate format: {{deceased|displayname=Display Name|sortname=Sort Name|born=Feb 30, 1968|died=Nov 31, 2020}}

All parameters are optional. Drop month and day if not known. The template will add the user page to Category:Deceased users, sort the page by last name (or sortname, if provided), and add the user's name and dates as a (pseudo) header.
