Moving the article page to: Integer division

Should we move the article page to integer division, which would contain sections about quotient and remainder. — Daniel Forgues 02:52, 4 September 2016 (UTC)

I would expect a page titled "Integer division" to be about the operation $(m,n)\mapsto \left\lfloor {\frac {m}{n}}\right\rfloor$ and its applications. I would not expect a discussion of remainders and modular arithmetic. - Charles R Greathouse IV 05:24, 5 September 2016 (UTC)

You're right, integer division refers only to the quotient in $(m,n)\mapsto (q,r)=\left(\left\lfloor {\frac {m}{n}}\right\rfloor ,m-n\left\lfloor {\frac {m}{n}}\right\rfloor \right)$. — Daniel Forgues 01:06, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
