Is there an "OEIS Official symbol"?

I removed the following (I've seen this information somewhere before, but I've been told that this not the case...)

Category:OEIS Official symbol
OEIS Official symbol
μ
Category:Moebius function: the official symbol in the OEIS is mu
Moebius function: the official symbol in the OEIS is mu

Is there an "OEIS Official symbol"?— Daniel Forgues 16:31, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

No. This was a misinterpretation of a line in Index to OEIS: Section Mo:
Moebius function: the official symbol in the OEIS is mu (see A008683), not MoebiusMu nor mobius, etc.
which says that this symbol is written "mu", not that it symbolizes the OEIS.
Now there is an official logo, of course, which you can see here: http://oeisf.org/logo.png

Thanks for telling me. I should have thought better!— Daniel Forgues 23:56, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
No problem, it might have been any of us who had misread it that way. Charles R Greathouse IV 04:52, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
