Aurifeuillian Aurifeuillean

This page should be moved to Aurifeuillean factorizations (singular or plural?), named after Léon-François-Antoine Aurifeuille. (A Google search with "Aurifeuillean Factorization" will confirm this.) I do not have the user rights to do the move myself. — Daniel Forgues 02:31, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

I wouldn't be too worried about the Aurif part, by either spelling it can be found. I was careful to spell it how Wells spelled it and didn't care how Wikipedia spelled it. As for the question of singular/plural, I can't remember my reasoning. — Alonso del Arte 04:54, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
I'd be happy to move it but must admit ignorance as to the correct spelling(s). — Charles R Greathouse IV 06:04, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

Seems wrong

The following

seems wrong, since

Indeed, \sqrt{ab} should be replaced with \sqrt{2ab} to make it correct. (It's a difference of squares.) Charles R Greathouse IV 06:17, 11 February 2013 (UTC)
That mistake might be my fault, though I wonder why I would miss two instances of the 2. Might be a typo in the book, I will check. Alonso del Arte 04:57, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
