Would a sequence like 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 13, 13, 13, ... be considered to be in ascending order even if all further terms are the same? Alonso del Arte 02:38, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
- Ascending order, yes. It would be a nondecreasing sequence (sometimes called "weakly increasing") but not a (strictly) increasing sequence. Charles R Greathouse IV 05:42, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
- I ask because the way the stub was seemed to be saying that the final term must be greater than the penultimate term. Alonso del Arte 05:36, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
