I saw your suggestion at David Applegate's Talk page and created {{backlinks}} for you. You can use it like this:

{{backlinks|A186927}}

which gives

Backlinks to A186927

Well, I would rather (a naive guess maybe) see a change in the script that takes that data of a sequence and spits out html code. I do not see why there should be some "user script" involved. But you are certainly better informed.. F. Chapoton 19:04, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

In general I'd prefer as simple of a user interface as possible. Of course another consideration is that essentially all of the server-side work is done by Russ Cox who is (consequently) very busy. A user script sidesteps both of these issues. Charles R Greathouse IV 06:18, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
