I find sequences related to the lottery problem (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lottery_mathematics#Minimum_number_of_tickets_for_a_match) and superpermutations (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superpermutation , http://oeis.org/A180632) very interesting (both seem to be hard to calculate).
