One of my earliest memories of doing math is sitting in the back seat of my father's navy blue 1948 Dodge. He would give my brother and me arithmetic problems while we were driving through the sunny idyllic Southern California of the mid-1950's. Since then, I have earned a BS in mathematics from Harvey Mudd College, an MS in mathematics from Colorado State University, and an MS in computer science from UCLA.
I'm in the business of writing software that solves problems related to optics and thin-film coatings. See http://www.sspectra.com for more details.
As a hobby, I like working with sequences related to number theory.
I'm treasurer of the OEIS Foundation. If you like OEIS, please think about making a donation. Thanks!
