I would describe myself as an engineer and armchair mathematician. Reading about discoveries of amazingly large prime numbers piqued my interest in computers early on. This interest led me to a Batchelor's in Computer Science from Texas A&M in 1979 and I have been in the Software Engineering field ever since. An offhand comment from a professor at A&M sparked a continuing fascination for aliquot sequences. Other interests include Conway's Game of Life, continued fractions and any other problem that presents an excuse to investigate it with a simple program. I currently call San Diego home.
