I'm not a mathematician by profession, but I do enjoy spending my free time solving mathematical problems. Currently I'm doing a bit of research on primes made up by adding together integers raised to powers, specifically ones that require only two of those integers (a bit like an extended version of Fermat's theorem on the sums of two squares)
