I studied mathematics at the university of Vienna and worked then at the university of Ferrara (Italy), since 1983 as associate professor at the department of mathematics. From November 2016 I am retired.
Outside of mathematics my main interests are mathematical models in biology and medicine. I know and use several programming languages (C, Perl, Python, R, Tcl/Tk, Pari/GP).
I maintain Mathematical BBS at felix.unife.it, mainly a collection of links and materials for my students.
