I have been interested in math as long as I can remember.

The other day a friend of my dad's said, "Do you remember, when you were tiny, how you used to play the square root game with me?"

"What's that?" I asked.

"You'd say, like, 'What's the square root of 7?' '2.5,' I'd answer. 'No,' you'd respond, 'I think it's a little bit higher...'"
